I've been slowly driven mad by squeaking from the rear of my 2018 Beach, it's slowly become worse and now it sounds more like the cast of Ratatouille having a party back there.
Eventually I searched on here and saw people suggesting the chairs were the problem and to use some silicon spray or similar on the polystyrene inside the tailgate. I'd already done something similar and added some cloth tape years ago but the squeak obviously comes back.
I figured a light bag to put the chairs in while still allowing them to fit inside the door was the answer and came up with this, a pair of 80x80 pillowcases, currently £5.45 for a pair (don't do what I did and order two pairs, Doh!). Not the best quality pillow cases but perfect for this job.
