Does any one know when the MY2017 comes into effect? I'd certainly be interested in the electric tailgate if it was available for the California in the UK.

I would be interested in this option but only if it works off the leisure batteries. If it's available on the Transporter van range then i bet it will be wired off the starter battery.

Why? My current Volvo has a powered tailgate and it has only one battery, never had any issues.! It gets opened and close lots of times when camping.

I believe MY2017 kicks in from week 22 onwards. I caught a glimpse of a MY2017 price list today but must say I didn't see most of these options listed. Will have a closer look tomorrow....

Specially those carrying a bike rack.
