We just bought the van 3 weeks ago and have been camping twice
Struggled with the awning first time but sorted now
Just bought a cadac safari to cook on as I don't want to cook in the van
Brand new to camping so still finding our feet

Looks like a Natural Grey colour?

So you don't plan on using it all year round? That's a shame because the California really come into its own out of season.

Welcome. Don't be too presious, cook inside, just be careful. You have spent a lot of money on a vehicle, and one of its attributes is having a stove inside it.

Yes we do plan on using it all twelve months , but I would like a Cali Topper asap as I am worried about putting top away damp

It was just your comment about not cooking inside . Personally I just don't get that.
It is after all a " Camper Van " and not just a " Sleeping Van ".

I recommend the Topper as sold by Comfortz - see Forum Shop. That's what I have used for the past 2 years. I only tend to use it in Winter in inclement weather.

I like the cadac too, great for bbq and easy to use (we use the inside burner for tea/coffee or rice/noodles).
