New Cali Ocean

We’ve had our Ocean just over 3 years and only recently joined the CMC.
We like ‘smaller sites’ and the private ones, albeit can vary in facilities, have fulfilled most of our needs.
It’s true that CMC facilities are of a consistent standard but they do tend to be more a bit more ‘regimented’, but has its pluses and minuses… its pretty subjective.
Only stayed at 2 this year so far, Melrose and Bunree (Onich), both well run sites.
What I will point out that when booking as a member / logging in etc it’s sometimes a wee bit confusing ‘what’ the actual members discount is !!!
Thanks for the info BeeBee.

Love the colour! Is that Indium grey? With the red bellows it looks great…
Yes, it is. Wasn't sure about the grey as everything seems to be grey just now but the red bellows makes it a wee bit different. Hubby has a Indium grey T5 transporter so we now match. :D

Lovely van.
If you join cmc their sites are £13.00 cheaper than for non members. They have put their prices up recently, as we do not use that much on EHU it can seem a bit expensive. Husband likes the warm and clean shower blocks. The staff are usually very nice and helpful.

C&MC have consistently good toilet/shower blocks, but their sites can be very dull with rows & rows of small white boxes.

C&CC toilet/showers are clean, but of varying quality. Much more variance of people/units pitched. We’ve found that their staff are the most enthusiastic.

Stayed at C&CC Nairn site on Friday night for a try out. Lovely site and joined the club. 'Van was great but we'll just have to get used to going from a king size bed to a campervan bed! Hubby may go "upstairs" to sleep. Had frozen milk in the morning but no big deal. Reminded us of primary school bottles of milk in the winter months. Better that tho than the warm milk in the summer months. Yuk!
