Hello people, just thought I'd do a quick introduction as I've recently picked up 1996 California Coach 2.5 TDI and feel the need to show it off!
I've been looking for the right one since summer after selling my T3 Westy and hopefully have now found it. Unfortunately the honeymoon period didn't last that long as it broke down on my drive home from buying it :doh but was only an aux belt going and the dealer paid for the repair so, fingers crossed, just a blip!
First camp completed (without been blown away) in the Peak district at the weekend. Although it doesn't have the looks of my old T3, it blows it away in everyday usability and I definitely don't miss the air cooled MPG.
Here's a couple of pics of the new one and one of the old for sentimental reasons.
