New California Owner - New here too

[Gliderbee California 6.1]

Hi everyone,

I just received my California 6.1 yesterday, brand new, and I'm quite excited.
I still have a lot to learn about it, and I'll start by reading the manual (RTFM, like we used to say in the "old" days) and here.

Until now, I had a James Barroud rooftop tent on my Defender. I'm not sure if I'll keep that one; might be double use now, but my oldest son pointed out that you can put the rooftent on "any (he meant: his ) car". We'll see.
