New front end on 6.1 - Haters gonna hate.

I have always quite liked the look of some conversions (e.g.Leighton Vans LVR models). I also hated the fact that VW LED headlamps are ridiculously expensive. So, having given a wooden post a love tap last Sunday, I found myself in need of a new washer bottle, bumper and grill- or to try and fix/bodge the old ones.

I took the plunge and went for it...

THQ headlights £650
Replacement genuine bumper and gloss black grills.and infills from Leighton Van Parts £450
Veedub Tranporter.spoiler and splitter £430
New coolant bottle £75 from TPS

Deciding to do the headlights at the same time (as the front has to come off anyway to do them) was a good call as the casing on one of the originals had been cracked as well - so would have failed and needed replacing eventually anyway.

All the parts arrived really quickly and have been fitted by me this week - with a bit of help from a mate.

I get that it won't be to everyone's taste but I love it!
