new bling installed today..

DAB aerial lead and GPS aerial lead pulled in.



GPS and DAB aerials installed on screen...




I had no access to chassis metalwork for the earth tab so I ran a separate earth wire and stuck it to the tab.



Power booster for analogue aerial. Blue lead spliced into 12v supply.



Reverse camera input...



Speed signal from old loom.






Existing speaker outs reused....



Reverse light signal cable routed ready to splice into cable from rear.



Reverse camera cable route....



AND TURN IT UP TO 11.

Sound with standard speakers is solid.

SatNav seems to be pretty impressive. IGO2 software.
Phone works as it should.
I've yet to find a home for the USB/lighting connector and the HDMI in/out..

Reverse camera still to install.

Very impressed, but if you know diddly doo about electrics how much would this set you back to buy unit just for CD Radio Sat Nav but the connectivity for an I phone to listion to music if this can be done, how much are we talking? My Cali is pretty much the same as yours but a year older and 102bhp

The unit does look cool presumably you’ve kept the old one in case you sell on your Cali and someone wants the original part?
