If you can find a newish one, with a similar-to-perfect spec for you, for less than a new one I'd save a few quid, and a few grey hairs waiting for 12 months+ (see this record? thread on new order delays 6111 and counting - admittedly over years) and grab it.
Here's a beauty. How much over list price is it?

Would suggest also looking at some older ones, as they often came with a better spec as standard.

Camping heater & 3 zone climate control will make the van alot more comfortable.

Newer models need the foglights really , otherwise van lower grill has alot of plastic.

We were in that predicament! Ordered a new Beach in Sept 21. When we didn't know if price would be honoured after June 22 and dealer was sure it would be delivered after June 22 we cancelled the order. Couldn't get the idea of one out of our heads though so end of June this year we bought a 2018 T6 beach and are really pleased with it. Mileage on it is only 7000 so barely used. It doesn't have all the features we wanted such as parking heater but its got much less electrics and having not really heard about anyone who hasn't had electrical issues with their T6.1 we're glad we went for an older one. The only bug bare is the huge road tax we have to pay until its 5 years old!!
