New member with 2017 Ocean. Just found this. But what is it?

Hello,
we have just bought a used Ocean. Loads to still discover with the contents and capabilities. But have found this knob in one of the many bins. But what is it? It has a VW moulded in to the plastic, so it must go somewhere in the van, but we are flummoxed as to where it belongs.

The photos not clear enough to make out the detail. Might be worth another shot also what's on the underside?

Yep , that belongs in the glovebox to open the cooling....never did that doh...

Wow. Many thanks for your replies. I always judge forums on the speed, volume and accuracy of replies. I hunted high and low to find the answer or a suitable slot/hole it will fit in to. And read the manual several times trying to find the answer. Why is there a vent in the glovebox?

Like @Loz says. The Aircon has a small vent in the glovebox to keep the (whatever) goodies cool in summer. And it actually works ;-)

If not broken, it should be quite easy to clip on again …

That’s for when you lift the parcel shelf up and can hold it up whislt loading / unloading or whatever.

EDIT - if you lift up the parcel shelf then the bar actual slots away neatly and shouldn’t need to be dangling in the way like in the pic.
