We bought a California Ocean 5 years ago and travelled round Europe as far east as Poland and as far south as Gibraltar. in 2018 we drove to Mohan on China's border with Laos through Turkey, Georgia, Russia, the Stans (including the Pamir Highway: the picture shows us at the Ak Baital Pass) and China and back through Tibet. The van has now done over 70,000 miles and has never broken down.

and where were you all this while! ? of course, enjoying the van and your epic journeys .. absolutely awesome. Anywhere we can read up ... or if you out and about at some VW or Club meets, a few pints on me ... to sit and listen to your epic stories.

Wow!

I thought we did well with our Beach on a year long 20,000 mile tour of Europe, as far north as Nordkapp, as far south as Tarifa, as far east as Hattuvaara and as far west as Cabo da Roca, with two toddlers and two dogs.
