Ok – it is a T2, and it is a Lego model, but hugely pleasurable to build and finish. This will replace my T1 which has seen good service (for sale - any reasonable offer accepted, but I have lost the build manual and will dismantle it before posting in a lobster pot)

I understand a T6.1 model is due soon – 2,500 pieces with 1,000 piece options to choose from

I'd love to be able to order a new (real) T1 or T2 now, hopefully, Lego will release a T3 California, my favourite VW camper version. If you are waiting for delivery of your Cali, this is a wonderful way to pass the time.
