Hi all
Me and SWMBO have just invested in this and looking forward to some adventures. I've been solo motorcycle camping for years so this way we get to go on adventures together 1000008425.jpg
Will no doubt be asking loads of questions and seeking advice from the collective. So many things / accessories we could buy but what do we actually need. Well let's see. First thing will be a portaloo though.

Very nice van indeed!
Go easy on buying loads of accessories. Use stuff from home or bike camping to start with as it will take quite a few trips to work out what you really need.
If looking for a toilet though, I recommend checking out the TROBOLO WandaGO, before purchasing the likes of a PortaPotti and chemicals. It fits in the right hand cupboard as well.

Wow looks great. You don’t see many in black
Was not looking for a black one but this came up in the spec I was looking for at a dealer just 5 minutes away so was hard to resist. Hopefully collecting it on Saturday :happy

Thanks for the advice - I will be using a lot of my camping stuff to begin with while figuring out what is actually needed. Like on the bike it's more about the storage space you have to work with but there is a whole lot more of it than I've been used to over the years in the van. :happy

Your bike touring will stand you in good stead for sure. It’s when SWMBO has needs like hair dryers and the like that it gets more complicated.

I did rather like our 335 Porta Potti with electric flush…the Dunelm padded cover turned it into handy stool for behind the front seat. The shower tent also provided a decent external option

Yes she is struggling to grab the concept of less is more. Fortunately though she has short hair and does not require a hair dry so that's one thing I do not have to worry about :thumb
