Oil leak after 8k miles ?warranty

First MOT and service and found to have an oil leak from turbo oil return pipe. Has anyone had this? If so, do you know how much it should cost? My warranty ran out yesterday. I phoned VW today and opened a case but have to pay £115 diagnostic because I didn’t use VW partner. Apparently, once they have diagnosed it, we then discuss what happens next. I think that one day over the warranty and only 8k on the clock then they should pay for it. Reasonable?

Now you know what the issue is, go and visit a few small indy garages and get quotes.
Chances are it just needs nipping up.
