Hello everyone,

Love to camp and sail, but this is the next step in life’s great adventure. Officially an OAP now (not sure how that happened and husband catching up soon) and the ground is a long way down in the tent! Taking delivery of our new California Ocean in March and can’t wait to kit it out and hit the road in a little more comfort. Hope to make some trips around the UK first to get used to it, before travelling further afield. Can’t wait to take the grandchildren away with us and share special memories and experiences with them.

Have taken advice from the many posts on the forum - really useful information thanks. Looking forward to chatting in the future.

Regards,

Sylvia and Dennis

Welcome and congratulations on your soon to arrive Cali! :thumb

Thank you. Can’t wait until it arrives.

Welcome - yes, the ageing process does have us reaching for the creature comforts!

Quite a lot more comfort in our experience! And it's a lovely space to live and travel in.

Enjoy.

Recently retired but not yet an OAP, we took delivery of our new Ocean in Jan. Already enjoyed a number of nights away and numerous day trips. Buying a Cali was a bit of a leap in the dark, we had a caravan a few years ago, but had no previous experience of a campervan. No regrets at all and absolutely loving it. The best thing about the Cali is how useable it is, you really can just jump in and drive anywhere you’d go in a car, but with the ability to sleep and eat once you e arrived! I’d also reassure you that despite some of the comments on the forum, our van has behaved perfectly and with no leaky bellows after a first overnight drenching in York last week!
