Well, we should have been packing Callie today ready for our 5 week tour up to Scotland. We were going via Roslin, St. Andrews to Aberdeen. Then time in the Shetlands and Orkneys before a bit of the NC500. I wanted to stay on the shores of Loch Ness, maybe see Nessie before wending our way home to the south coast. It would have been our longest trip away and were so excited. Next year hopefully.

My first short trip should already been over this Easter weekend.

Having just sold the business, my dream for this year was our annual trip to Devon and Cornwall in June. I might still be working but I negotiated 12 weeks holiday! For once I decided not to book a thing but to meander about...for 3 weeks. I was thinking it would be the last year that Dottie would be up to proper walks, albeit shorter.
However coronavirus hit big time the week after we sold, Dottie suddenly suffered from what looks like arthritis with no where to go to get specialist treatment, and on my first day off in 6 months, my Dad died on Easter Monday.
im just glad to be alive, with my mental health still in tact (just). What with the lockdown and 9-5 working for the first time in my life, I can concentrate on looking after Dottie and getting my life in order....ready for the off whenever it happens!

I sure could do with a break away! Selling the business continues to be gruelling...I’m still hoping to do 9-5 soon!
