Lovely sunny spring weekend in the Lake District, stayed at Park Cliffe site inbetween Newby Bridge and Bowness on Lake Windermere. Not the cheapest of sites by far but immaculate facilities with very helpful friendly staff. The showers and toilets were immaculate with very hot water - nice. Great playground for kids, super walk to the top of the hill and plenty of wildlife. The on site pub and shop was good and reasonably priced with large portions of very nice food - takeaway also available. Free wifi ( good signal and quick on our pitch) awnings and hookup included in price.

Hi again to Splitrich who we bumped into on Sunday at a classic car meet, small world eh!

Great photo's... thanks for sharing. :)

Looks like you had a great time. Did you manage to find the Mason's Arms at Strawberry bank? .... Ah brings back good memories. :)

Didn't make it there this time but have been lots in the past, great place and always busy even though it's tucked away. Yum :thumb
