Personalising a Beach interior

Replaced the "multiflex" https://vwcaliforniaclub.com/threads/another-diy-multiflex-alternative.33589/

Added an Ikea drawer unit for cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Bottom drawers modded to be double height for pots and pans. Used an Ikea chopping board to top it off.

Since taking the pic have added 2x similar wooden panels with locking hinges on the sides so can have instant table when needed. Whole thing now on heavy duty hinges similar to those used for boot pull out trays so can pull forward to access storage/ power behind. Held in place with one quick release onto the VW rail. Inexpensive but a game changer for easy organisation.

available from lots of auto trimmers

very cheap and easy to fit, requires the unseen edge to be cut to allow relief when bending around corners, but very simple (multi coloured Auction site)
