Hi guys,

Planning a trip to Lake Garda mid September, just the better half and myself.

Hoping for some recommended Campsites and things we must do and see whilst there?

Thanks

Oooh, look forward to the replies, would like to do something similar for next year!

We have been to Garda a few times but not yet in our Cali (we stayed in a 5* B&B called "Dimora Bolsone" which was magical)...our European trip in the Cali from7th to 18th Sept this year should take us to Garda around the middle of Sept though date is tba.
If you want to spoil yourselves then the restaurant at the Villa Fiordaliso (Used to be owned by Mussolini's mistress) is stunning and with beautiful gardens on the lakeside...but not cheap

You could also get the lake boat from Gardone Riviera on the West bank across the lake to Sirmione which is an ancient citadel with cobbled streets on the spit of land that comes up from the South shore.

https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g187842-d1486276-Reviews-Camping_Sirmione-Sirmione_Province_of_Brescia_Lombardy.html We stayed in June, ask for the key to the personnel gate at the far end of the site which allows access to the path next to the lake. If you take bikes or walking turn left out of this gate to get to Sirmione.
