After spending a full four days in our van (longest trip to date)we have come to the conclusion that some sort of fold out flap (read teeny weeny table) would be usefull to stand either an electric kettle or toaster on when camped up(with passenger seat facing rearwards).
The flap could be made to fit in the alu trim which runs around the kitchen unit , just above the 12v &240v sockets and it only needs to be approx 260mm x300mm
The alu trim already carries the table at the front .
Hope this makes sense to someone :crazy

Something like this do you mean?

Made it to fit on the edge of my Beach kitchen pod.

Yes that's the type of thing , but it would be fitted on the end of the sink unit when the passenger seat is facing backwards.

Got me thinking I could make something for there and here it is

Just got to learn to put my pictures on straight :shocked

Looks good :clap
What material is the top? and where do you get it from.

The top is made from aluminium dubond the same material as the shelves under the sink
Left over from another job the brackets are flat aluminium bar with a slight bend :thumb

Blimey that was quick :D
It looks exactly as I imagined but I'm struggling to understand how it's held in place etc

Just realised I could click the pics and see the whole thing
Would this be something the club shop could sort ?
I would round off the corners maybe

I probably could make you one with rounded corners but not for the shop :thumb
The aluminium brackets have a lip that fits in the channel :thumb

Hi there

Nice job, but why are so many of the photos on this forum like that- very over sized disappear under the adverts and when you expand them you lose the rest of the post?

Is it my settings? :help

I like the look of those. useful for the person sitting in the passenger seat. I take it
You can remove it for travelling :?: how much are they please :?:

I would quite fancy one of these Kev if you have any left?

Cheers
Mark
