Problems and advice concerning infortainment unit

My latest email regarding popular topics (unfortunately accidentally deleted) indicated high cost of repairs at £2,000 plus, and a reliable independent with much lower costs was named. I am trying, unsuccessfully, to locate the thread containing this info, and would much appreciate some help in my quest.
