Project Camper DE. Internal Thermal Blinds.

Sorry, one last question. Does the windscreen blind have built-in magnets? You don't need to attach anything else to the van? Post number 23 suggests attaching magnets, although that seems to be for a Grand Grand Cali rather than a 6.1. Thanks again!
No magnets needed. The windscreen piece is held in place by the 4 vertical aluminum rods when the sun visors are dropped down. A slit in the upper edge accommodates the rear view mirror and there are internal magnets to keep the slit closed.

The magnets just need to be installed in the GC living area with the windows that have the plastic window trim and the metal is covered by the felted/finished trims. Not sure about the 6.1 living area.

The living area of the T6.1 suffers the same problem, requiring adhesive magnets around the frames of the windows.

How small do they pack down p
These arrived today beautifully finished and great quality, also magnetic edges, folds and rolls for storage. Comes in a variety of colours and patterns. Not cheap 135 euro. But IMO worth it. They provide for both California & GC.

How small do these pack down please? We already carry a fair bit of kit and wondering how they are best stored and how much space they take up. Thank you. They look fantastic btw

Each panel is about 1cm thick (windscreen one folds in half and is about 2cm folded). They are quite rigid so best to stow flat. Either in the poptop or I slide them above the solar panel on top of the Really Useful boxes in the boot. This is easier access when needed and poptop is down.

Only down side with that sort is it blocks the air flow from windows being open a bit, I managed to pick up some Cali magnetic ones for my joker as to have windows cracked open for the woof.
Not true. The front window blinds are designed to fold down at the top if required. Project Camper even have a lattice mesh that can fit in the window when opened, for security, if required View attachment IMG_7055.jpegView attachment IMG_7056.jpeg

Here's my storage solution. My full set of blinds fit in the purpose made bag. I've taken some measurements for you, to give an idea of sizeView attachment IMG_7057.jpegIMG_7058.jpegIMG_7059.jpegIMG_7060.jpeg

I too have the bag and it lies nice and flat in the boot.
My favourite blind(s) are the ones that fit on the sliding door meaning the door can be opened without having to push the annoying grey blind up.
Great product. I love mine.

We just received the internal thermals for the living area of our GC600- we have their exterior thermals for the cab area. We were pleased that they have a collaboration with Drive Dressy- so we could get the Misty Mountain solid blue that matches our seat covers. Now just need to install the magnets around our living area windows- looks pretty easy!

A range of options on the site - what ones did you go for? Felted lined walls, bare, or covered?

That’s good to know - thank you.

Thank you that’s very helpful they do sound good.

Thanks for all the responses on the Project Camper thermal blinds. I ordered a can set on 19th August and they’ve arrived today 28th August so really quick to the UK estimated time was 2 - 3 weeks.

Absolutely delighted with them and discovered the side blinds fit nicely between my BrandUp second seat covers and the passenger/drivers seats at the back.

Very classy. Did you fit the side door ones with the doors closed or open?

are they all magnetic?

So how do the sides of the windscreen cover fix on? Thanks
There is bare metal around the frame of the windows and the magnets secure to that. Obviously no magnets along the lower edge.
