Refrigerator buzzing but not cold??

Hi I have plugged electric hook up to van. Batteries seem knackered.Hot fizzing from battery under seat. However the fridge is buzzing very quietly but not getting cold??
Any idea what’s going on??

The Fridge runs from the Leisure Batteries and Mains Hookup charges the Leisure batteries. So, if you have severe problems with the Leisure Batteries then I would sort them first, especially if, as you say, one of them is hot and fizzing on charge. You could be causing more damage by trying to get the fridge going.

i would disconnect the battery that's fizzing
it doesn't sound good.
post a picture of the type you have.

2nd battery is under the fridge, could that be the source of your buzz?

Hi , I've spoken to a baterry specialist , he recommends replacing both batteries then go from there . Ill do that .
