Renogy dc to dc charger with solar?

I have a T5.1 which has a portable solar facility to charge my leisure battery it’s connected directly to the battery via a solar controller. My question is if I install a 20amp Renogy dc to dc charger and connect it to the leisure battery will I have any issues? The solar panel would only be use when the van is switched off.

On a California , no problem. You are just replacing the Split Charge relay.
