Replacement tailgate chair bag?

Hi.

The zip on my T6 California tailgate chair bag has broken, which makes it really awkward to remove both chairs, as if you zip it open enough to get the second chair out, the zip comes out from one side of the zip-pull.

Any ideas if it's possible to buy a replacement tailgate bag and fit it myself? I've Googled but not managed to find anything.

I would be inclined to see if there's someone (vehicle upholsterer maybe?) who could sew in a new zip first?

Good call. Does the bag actually come out? I've had a quick look and couldn't see anything obvious to detach it.

Not sure but it wouldn't be impossible to do it in situ? Probably a more manual activity but removes the need to try and take apart trim panels

You can buy zip repair kits, the repair zip puller part clips over the zip.

lots of products available, cheap and may be worth a go ?
