Picked up our first California today after many years of searching and changing our minds. So well spec and looked after by its first owner. We have a fairly new Bailey caravan and wanted a duel purpose vehicle rather than a full Motorhome, something to use daily when the company car goes back later in the summer and a vehicle that will tow the caravan (which I guess will be sold once we get use to the Cali) and we can use to go on road trips here and in Europe. We opted for the 4 motion with a great suspension set up by CRS , this will go anywhere and living on a small holding winters can be tricky, this Cali is fully loaded there’s a few tweak I want to do at some point but looking forward to many adventures

Very nice van. What setup did you go with for the suspension from CRS?

It’s H&R shocks and anti roll bars that’s what they suggest for VW ride really well and sits good height under 2 mt

Thanks. What height is it at? It looks around 60-70mm lower.

Not certain it used to be higher swampier look then CRS dropped it I’d say at least 60mm

You don't necessarily need to give up the caravan. We still do long stay trips with the caravan and then disappear off-grid with the Cali. Also use for for stays of a few weeks without the caravan.
