Rock and roll bed stay

Hi all,

I was just wondering if there is a stay available to hold the rock and roll bed seat up while accessing the storage/getting the table out. I wouldn't be looking for gas struts, just a simple catch like on the fridge/cooker lids.

This may have been asked many times before but i had a quick look and couldn't find anything.

On ours to the left there's a metal strut that you pull up from the base and use to hold up the seat base.
What year is your van?

I'll have to take a look for that when I'm back this evening, I haven't noticed it before, though I could have missed it. Our van is 1993.

The stay on mine is on the right as well - a 1996 California. It must be another one the little changes made by Westfalia over the years.
