Hi
Hoping someone can help.
We have trapped our roof in the hinges when closing it like and teared it!!
does anyone know where I could get this repaired? it seems a little extravagant to replace the whole thing!!
I have put some tear aid over it and although it does seal the hole it is transparent and lets light through.

Any ideas or names of companies who repair would be much appreciated.
I live in cornwall.

Many thanks
tom

Oh bad luck Tom ..

I had a little nick on mine a short while ago and was devastated ...

There are patches that you can get, sadly my vehicle is not with me and they are in the vehicle so I cannot give you the name of them,

but there are patches, invisible mending has been mentioned, etc ...

I'm going to do a search and see if I can find what I used, but it does depend on the size of tear. I am sure others will have self-cures, you are not the first and will not be the last.

There are no invisible repairers as far as I am aware, a new canvas is around £650 inc fitting.

How bad is the tear?

ok great, will look into this jen, I have put the tear aid on already but I just want something to match the colour and stop light coming through.

The tear is an L shape and measures approx. 40mm x 40mm.
