Hi. We had to lower our roof manually the other day, due to one of the hydraulic rams exploding. We can't get it fixed until September, but we would still like to use it even though we can't raise the roof.
Does anyone know if the roof will still be waterproof or not? It is firmly fixed down with th VW velcro straps etc plus we have added an extra strap around the whole roof.
Thanks.

I personally do not see why it shouldn't be waterproof if the edge seal is in contact all around.

Yeah, we agree. The edge seal appears to be in contact all around. Thanks

And suppose there get's some water blown in by wind,....it drains itself thru the drainholes...;)

Do keep a good eye on the traps , you would not see the roof come open whilst driving on the motoway at high speed!

Hi,we don't intend driving at high speeds for fear of the roof opening!
Yeah and we'll keep an eye on the drain holes.
Thanks
