Hi all,

How easy is it is run a cable from the main battery to the leisure battery. is it possible to do without lifting half the carpet up, passnger seat out etc.

Purpose is to install a battery maintainer to make use of excess solar, so i just need a connection to Main battery live as can do the rest under the passenger seat.

If it was an Ocean it would simple as can use the underseat relay connection...but its a Beach!

So you don't have a factory fitted OEM leisure battery charged from the alternator?

Yes, but the connection differs from the Ocean. In the Beach there is a very small split relay under the seat located on the fuse bank, with push in connectors, that you could to splice into the + main in wire to connect, but it’s quite tight for space. The ocean has a nice terminal connection on the split relay mounted on the seat base, so easier as just a case of undoing spade connector, connecting to that and then tighten the connector back up.

Found a good video, hopefully i can poke it thru without removing the seat base as carpet looks fairly easy to slide a hand under.

All to fit this:
