SE rear bench cupholder / 12v socket trim removal

So, I'm exploring some options around routing some cables and getting at the 12v source from the leisure battery from the same source as the 12v socket by the cupholder under the rear bench as in the picture below.

Before I go about prying at trim and breaking stuff, has anyone removed this and/or the adjacent trim on the sliding door surround?

@gregspam did you ever manage to do this? Or has anyone else managed to do this?

Part of a 12v plug has dropped down into the cavity below the socket - there's a couple of holes in the side of the socket which mean you can easily lose bits when trying to fish them out.

Presumably you've got to take the pillar covers off to get at the top fastenings?

Do you have the diagrams for those as well.
