Small, quiet fridge wanted……help needed!

We’ve recently become the proud owners of a California Beach Camper and are looking for fridge recommendations. We prefer a small fridge, no more than 20l, that’s quiet inside the van. We had an Indel TB13 before and found it to be ridiculously loud whenever the fan came on through the night.

We have a dometic CFX, 35 which we used in our California beach tour we had the three seater bench and it fitted lovely underneath board. We have now bought an ocean so looking to sell this compressor fridge. Currently there at about £750 £800. We also have the protective rap which is a further hundred pounds. looking for somewhere around £500 you may want to go for a 20 L fridge, but we found that the 35 L was much more flexible choices

I use an Indel B TB15 and don’t find it intrusive. The Dometic CFX3 25 is a bit bigger than you wanted but it’s a newer model and better insulated so the fan won’t come on so often. No idea how loud it is though. Maybe other CFX3 owners can comment.

Your CFX35 will sell quickly. Sold ours for £475 (without the cover) on eBay. Buyer said it was difficult to find anywhere with new ones actually in stock.

Domestic CFX 35 is very quiet and uses very little power. Fits nicely under the MFB in a 3 seat bench beach.

Dometic cfx3 25 or cfx28, small footprint for the Beach.

Good to know this as we haven’t attempted to sell ours yet.
