As we all know you can never have enough lights inside and convertors (VW) never give you enough. Here's a quick easy way to make some powerful and very handy reasonably priced lights - about £16 each.

12v plug from ebay and cable too:

And 150mm LED lights from Amazon, very well reviewed and I can back that up - awesome little things. Glow in the dark button and two light levels (low/high) just by pressing the button, very impressive ouput - on full power about twice as bright as the main Cali kitchen light.

I used 3m cable per light so lots of usable length inside or out in the awning. Pics self explatory but they come with a decent metal clip (even the back of the light is aluminium) and I simply riveted a piece of (heat gun) shaped plastic with chamfered edge - this slips nicely into the trim position shown and holds by friction. Drilled a hole in so it can be suspended or clipped to things.
