South East Meet

Been chatting to Lee and have mooted the idea of an informal get together, no camp but maybe a meet at somewhere.

It would be for people in Kent, Essex and Sussex and London but if anyone fancied a day out then they'd be welcome.

Maybe a spot of breakfast somewhere and talk Cali stuff

Any thoughts?

Camping could be good - i was thinking of here in Essex and i don't know what the camping situation is like here.

The plan was a meet at the 8 Ball Diner on the A12 - I believe this has closed but an Essex meet would be good

I am just looking at this, camping would be a mini meet and I wasn't sure how much people were up for it.

I am not too sure about camping in Essex, strange to say it, around Clacton/Walton might actually be quite good but I would be open to suggestions.

If it was to be a camp, it would have to be next year for me but open to ideas and suggestions.

If you can find somewhere nearer to Orford, I might be up for a camping trip too!

Having said that, the nature reserve on the Ness is closed now and that is why I'd like to have come (oh, and to see some Cali's of course... ;-))

Make it further south - like Dungeness - and we're on too if dates fit. I wanna go and see the concrete ears!

I can't and shan't be camping in the winter months. It would be nice to just meet up for a bit of Cali chat and for se members to get to know each other

What I suggest is a mini meet.

We have club meets in Xmas and next May (SMG) :cool

The idea was to meet up somewhere then those who want to camp, can camp and those of us too scared for winter camping (me) can have some breakfast.
