Spare locking wheel nut

I have just found out that I have a locking wheel nut bolt fitted underneath my Cali. I did wonder why it came with 2 different locking wheel nut keys…….I was thinking about fitting one of these too. Another job done then…….

Not secure if you don't have the SpareSafe.
Because the Locking Wheel nut is not countersunk as it is when fitted to a wheel, easily removed with Mole Grips.

But of course it's not a VW option so you don't have to fit a SpareSafe but VW will happily sell you a replacement spare wheel.
