Any suggestions for good sticky tape for attaching things to the plastic trim?

I’ve tried a few duct tapes and electrical tapes and with the textured surface, heat and humidity changes in the van, nothing seems to stick for long.

3M sticky pads.

Lots of different sizes on Ebay.

Anyone know the make / type of tape supplies with the small Cali mats, mine have stayed secure for well over two years, would like to remove and deep clean and replace. Hesitate incase I can’t re-secure them

The key is in how you attach them. Clean surface well with isopropyl alcohol. After sticking the pads, put weight on them for at least 12- 24 hours and only then put weight/ stress on them.

Mammoth Tape as per my previous post.

What do you want to stick and on what trim?

I have 2 small brandrup bags stuck to the rear locker with
brandrup velcro and they're stuck well, even with removing them
occasionally, about 10 yrs old now and still as good as new.

Tat from Mrs willwander. Flowers and stuff.
All over

I wanted to ask will wander what he wanted to stick
and where, but it was deemed offensive so my post was
moderated. Lol.
I noticed yesterday (I think) that, for a time you were listed in your profile as a trade partner (or similar) what was all that about?

@willwander the first double sided tape below is what we use for things that are not heavy. It works great for us. We used it to stick the 3rd breaking light on to the window in our previous T4 and we used it to stick our DIY-mats to the floor. If you really want to hang heavy stuff then try the second tape (Tesa powerbond). It holds 10KG per 10 cm. We used it to hang a aluminium shelve above the kitchen in the cali. Never moved an inch, not even with all sorts of stuff on the shelve.

Tat, TAT???
you sound like my husband.
He complains that I have taken a smart grey Germanic van and have filled it full of tat.
However it is my van, he doesn’t come in it and I will fill it with whatever I like.
BTW small clear command sticky hooks work brilliantly for lights and flowers. Mine have been up for 3 years and haven’t fallen off. The battery packs for the lights go in the over bed locker when the roof is down.
I’m sure that Mrs willwanders flowers will look fab and I hope to see them one day.

I find removing the backing paper and heating up with a lighter prior to application creates a much longer lasting bond.

We have some Campervan fairy lights held up with the tiny 3m hooks. I think obtained from Wilkos. Seem to hold well

One mans tat is another’s pride and joy.
