swap 3-seat bench for 2-seat?

I recently bought a VW Beach Camper with 3-seat bench (grey/black)

I am a surfer with 8' surfboard. My plan was to put the board on the roof and is a pain. putting the boards in the back kind of works but no ideal. Am regretting my decision on the 3-seat, wish I had gone for the 2-seat

Would anyone with a 2-seat be interested to swap?

or any advice on where to buy? or alternative solutions that worked for you?

I am located in Brindisi, Italy.

Maybe you could hang the board on the side of the van? There are solutions for this on the market I believe.
