Swival seat... Airbag warning light.. Permanent fix anyone?

After moving both seats the airbag light is on again! My carista will sort but how do i prevent it happening again... I hear longer vw loom required but can cable ties etc not sort it... must be a fix without vw visit .doubt if warranty will cover now. ( 2011 T5.1 Se model)

Air Bag Warning Light - Any suggestions!

Hello I have a T5 Cali. 12 plate. My airbag warning light keeps coming on when I swivel the passenger seat. It clears on a diagnostic - and I am taking it in to my independent VW garage next week to get it looked at. However they don't deal with many california's - so I wondered if anyone had...

Hi. I had this problem a few years ago on 2011 cal. Back and for to dealer. The technical said it’s a common problem due to the clips on wires when seat is rotated. After 3 yr warranty run out they cut this clip off and put a stronger more durable clip on. Never happened again.

I assume you mean under the passenger seat?
