Interesting, I disagree. The 4 is such a straight line, angular style I just think it looks odd with the rounded nose. Ironic really given that the bull nose was to accommodate the V6 petrol motor, the least common of all.

There was a Karmann Karuso for sale close to me when I was looking for my California and I went to have a look.

A lovely van in great condition, very similar to the Exclusive in so many ways and I was very tempted - but I had my heart set on a poptop with TDi and ultimately I didn't want to compromise on this.

I didn't realise how rare they were though..
