Hi Folks
Who do you currently use for insurance? I've just had my renewal from Adrian Flux (Groupama) and it's gone up to £360, an increase of about £40.
My research came up with a company called Comfort, as they seem popular here, but my online quote came in at £430.
Last year there were some insurers unwilling to insure a left hand drive import, so maybe that bumps it up.
I changed the area, took the named driver off, but no reduction. The only reduction was if I had a Cat 1 immobiliser, which resulted in £20 discount, not much really.
Maybe this is the current status quo, and my renewal is actually reasonable?
I have until 5th Jan to renew, so time to have a look around, but would appreciate any comments from other T4 owners.
Thanks, Ash

Flux was the best quote I could get this year for a T4 Westy.

Camping and Caravaning Club was the worst, which surprised me. A lot aren't interested in mine though, as it has a modified engine.

There must be someone else other than flux .....I've used them 3 times over the years and each time they jerked me about ... No time for the flux I'm afraid ,but if u have to If its that much cheaper then you have to fella ....

Today I got mine down from £360 to £315 with Flux, so I'm happy. I tried 2gether insurance £335 and Comfort £420ish.
When I had the T25 I was paying £200, I didn't realise it would be a lot more for the T4.
Flux apparently aren't the greatest, but I've had no problems and I get an agreed valuation which is handy and I only pay for it once (last year) as long as I stay with them I guess.
So roll on this new season of camping...
We already had out first expedition of winter camping on New Year's Eve on the Northumberland coast...magic

Not wishing to assume any age ( for 50+) but SAGA do a Motorhome Insurance with 365 European cover and European breakdown. We currently use SAGA.After haggling we got a £45 reduction on breakdown.

Also you could try googling Safeguard. They specialise in Motorhome Insurance.I think they are a sub division of Swinton.

Good luck

I tried saga but they were not competitive. There I was thinking that would be one of the advantages of reaching 50 last year.
