T6.1 Ocean - tape on roof questions?

Just heading home after a lovely (but wet) few days in Pembrokeshire and noticed when packing up some clear tape on the roof is coming loose, it appears to be protecting the paintwork where the pop-top seals meet the roof.

Two questions:

1. Will this tape have been factory fitted?
2. Any ideas on where I can buy replacement tape?

When I removed the factory fitted tape, there was a residue of adhesive: I found the best way to remove that, without using any solvent (which could affect the paint), was using a Staedtler mars plastic rubber.

I also use the same plastic rubber can be useful to remove small blemishes for example on upholstery and the ceiling fabric.
