T6.1 Side Steps

Mrs G is recovering from a long hospital stay, and finds it difficult getting in and out of our T6.1 Ocean. I’ve been informed that the T5 and 6 steps fitting is identical on the T6.1, but after spent some time grovelling under the bus, I’ve concluded that it’s quite different. Has anyone successfully fitted sidesteps to their Cali, and where did you get them from.

They have the same fitting on all 3 generations. I have been eyeing these. Might be a good option, albeit more costly than fixed options.

My advice get something to step on my electronic step opens when it feels like had it in for service many times and step has been replaced

We had side steps on our Beach supplied & fitted 4 years ago by Vanstyl.
We have our eyes on some from Veedubs for the Ocean but they are out of stock until the end of April.

I used a folding step stool for my mum when she was in the same situation

+1 for the folding stool. We have one and it just folds as the last thing we pack and sits on top of the EHU cable in the pull out drawer.
