I can confirm due to the hard work and determination of Simon from Busfest we have one of the first ever T6 California's here on display at the South Hereford Garages VW stand at the Three Counties Showground.

It looks fantastic!!!!

Here are just a few snaps.....

A great set of photos.

Definitely more evolution than revolution from a skin perspective.

Thanks so much for the photos ! First real glimpse of what we've ordered.

Looks great! Like the front blinds, very convenient, not sure how robust they would be though. I do fancy retrofitting to my T 5.0 if possible.

Malvern is not far, maybe Murphy needs a ride out?! Not been to Busfest/Vanfest for a few years, it always a fascinating day out.

That t 6 looks pretty much the same as any euro t5.1 give or take a few exterior styling swishes.

Nice pics Tom, can't quite tell from the pics but have the seats and carpets gone a bit beige, they look a bit fuddy duddy. I think I would be speccing a different covering, doesn't look very camping friendly.

They have gone slightly more beige/ pale latte than the current grey.

18" Springfield Alloy Wheel - Chrome Finish. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but will give you an idea of the design. Also available in standard silver finish

We have just had a look round this T6 at Busfest and like most of the people I spoke to it is a very poor upgrade especially in the habitation area.

They have not improved any of the things which have problems on the T5 Cali

Same grey floor that is impossibsle to keep clean
Same fabric on the seats (be it different design) but will still stain with water
Same design for wardrobe sliding doors that fall apart just as you go out of warranty
Same blinds that are way too fragile for a campervan
Same dash/dials layout
Nice shiny dash BUT it is very easily scratched and is pointless in a campervan
New front blinds but they feel cheap and very breakable

At least now we have seen it we know it is pointless upgrading

Acapulco Blue Metallic. Most retailers will have a Caddy 4 or T6 in this colour as it is a launch colour

For those that have been able to see the T6 California please just bare in mind this is the 2nd vehicle produced and is a pre-production vehicle. In theory these vehicles shouldn't be viewed by the public as they are not finished to the final standard. They never make it into the open market.

Thanks for the pics Tom :thumb

PS: If still in Malvern on Monday the Morgan factory is well worth a visit

Not sure if I like the grille treatment, doesn't seem to look as elegant as the T5; but I guess it will grow on me.

(The upper bit I mean, between the headlights)
