Tailgate Blind Repair/ Replacement

Hi all,
Having just spent the last few hours removing the tailgate panel on my 2005 California to access the roller blind (pig of a job), I am just wondering whether anyone has successfully repaired theirs before I start drilling out the rivets for further inspection? Mine is completely jammed. I can find replacements for the T5.1 and T6 online but i fear sourcing a replacement for a 2005 Cali may be an issue! I know i can just get a Brandrup tailgate insulation panel but I would like to get the OEM blind working in addition to this.
