I brought the the NCB issue up and was told its now standard procedure from starting with them with NCB from previous provider added with proof of certificate (check all the same)

It was not there policy (
before last year) to add on the NCB from previous insurance provider
That's the way I understood it

Comfort wouldn't insure me for on street parking when stationed at home but gives competitive price otherwise

Cheers, we've had a recommendation for Brentacre but it sounds like Safeguard are the way to go.
