Folks, I turned here initially while looking for a bit of advice with my new Cali Coast 4M (i hit an FAQ "no water from the sink tap") to be used for my dinghy sailing adventures and found an incredible amount of stories, adventures, DIY determination and actually a whole new religion I'm gladly joining. a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information but I will for sure get through it and also return to the initial question: water tap, alleged report of limited durability of Diesel bi-turbo, and ideas for keeping batteries alive in stillstand using solar elements. jiri, Prague, Czech Republic, RS700 CZE 1043.

Can you hear the pump wiring when you ask for water. Not sure about a coast.
I have an ocean, someone will be along to give you some guidance.

I'm puzzled -- I hear the pump engine, I hear water splushing, sucking water down the tap didn't apparently overcome an airlock, the water tank lid is hard to open -- next step probably trying to use more brute force and possibly find something like a disconnected hose :-o

Make a tool to open the lid. Bit of wood and 2 nuts and bolts will do it
