Almost exactly 12 years since we bought our first Cali.
Back then, on Euro trips we’d operate on a 50 Euro/day budget.
Occasionally we’d bust it but , generally we’d come in on or just under.

Yesterday we spent 75 Euro on lunch!
Nothing spesh but it was very nice. :cheers

Different times! :cheers

2017/2018 when we spent a full year pottering around Europe we spent around €100 per day.

2 adults
2 children
2 dogs

Good effort. Obvs you can do it. Normally it’s a left over from breaky baguette with ham/cheese and a pression.
It just seems mad that a basic lunch for two costs that much.

The prices vary a lot according to the places, and the style of restaurant. Where was it ?

Ramatouelle. Just a basic mangery.

It’s not a thread about how cheaply you can survive. We can all do bread and water life support if required it’s more a case of just a reflection on the cost of a plate of good food and half a bottle of grape juice.
