Torx for seat removal

Hi,

I am replacing the leisure battery under left seat on my California 2005 mod. For this a need a special torx for the seat removal. This is hard to find. Does anyone know the specification on that special torx, used by VW?

I’m not sure of the exact one that you need.

In fact to remove front seat on my 5.1 you just need to remove normal 13mm nuts.

However, on VW most of the bolts with fancy heads are actually ‘spline’ bits rather than ’torx’

That is interesting, on my 2015 I just used normal socket set. They must have dropped torx at some point?
