Traffic on Kenwood DNX518VDABS

Hi all

I think I’m being a bit thick...I upgraded the stereo to the Kenwood DNX518VDABS but for the life of me I can’t get live traffic to show on the sat nav. I’ve downloaded apps, read the manual etc. But not getting anywhere. Is there something I am missing please to get this to simply work?

I’m not sure it does live traffic.

I have the same unit and just use Apple CarPlay instead.

Ah, thanks, and the Android equivalent I assume also works...is it easy to set up please?

There is nothing to set up, you literally just plug your phone into the USB port.

On some units, eg Pioneer, there are two usb ports on the back one for Apple Car Play and one for Android Auto. If this is the case make sure you plug into the right one.

Thanks...yes I have two (always wondered why) leads...hopefully it will be obvious.

Thanks..no I don’t but might consider that as the two leads are in the glove box! Cheers
