just being an old f...t but check them ! Mine were 30 30 32 40 and should be 48 all round after doing very little over the winter. Saves fuel too!

Good point...

Checked mine just before Easter and all were in the mid thirties.

Guess I really should check them more often!

A year ago I had the air in my tyres replaced with nitrogen. My tyre pressures are checked every 2 months and with nitrogen there is hardly any loss in pressure. Nitrogen molecules are bigger than oxygen, so much less leakage.

Is the molecule size relevant with respect to the size of the gap that allows the leakage ?

Surely Tyres should be adjusted if the van is being used as a daily use "Car" with no luggage/camping gear and only one occupant. The 40+ pressures are very hard for single occupant local driving? Similar 18" size tyres on a Discovery 3 (Similar weight) are normally run at about 33 psi.
